Laser sights for bow hunting legal in Michigan?

I went to this store that sold archery equipment and I was looking for laser sights, and they said that they were illegal to hunt with, which is why they didn’t have them. I was wondering if anyone knew if that was true. Note that I’m talking about laser sights and not red dot sights.

Laser sights are illegal in michigan like most states.. any beams are considered illegal, a red dot is ok because its just a floating dot.

There was a proposal floated years ago to allow blind people to use laser sights so people who can see can help correct their aim. I don’t remember if that went anywhere. Use the link that Nitro posted to find out.

To the best of my knowledge the laser sight is illegal nation wide when it comes to bow sights. And as you stated the red dot is ok.
