What arrow weight should I be looking at?

I’ve got a 26" draw length, and am shooting at 50lbs. I use 100 grain field points and broadheads. Guy at Dick’s told me heavier is better, and I should look for 500 grain arrows. Just looking for other opinions, as I’m still pretty new to archery. Sites You May Find Helpful
